Everything happens inside the resort, so there's nothing to travel between once you're there. The ceremony is in the Ocean Pavilion, followed by cocktails outside on the grass as the sun goes down.

• Linen and cotton over anything heavy. It will be around 30°C and humid.
• The cocktail reception is on the grass, so block heels or wedges rather than stilettos.
• Bring a layer for dinner. The ballroom air-conditioning is strong.

Genuinely. Several of you are crossing the world and spending a week of annual leave to be there, and that is comfortably more than we would ever have asked for.

If you feel you must bring something, please keep it small. We fly back to the UK afterwards with a fixed baggage allowance, and we would rather carry home the photos.

There are no direct flights from the UK, and February is the best month to be in the Philippines, which means flights and rooms both move early. Everything you need is on the travel page.

February is dry season, the best time of year to be there. Expect around 30°C in the day, mid-20s at night, and very little rain. Humid.
